Helen S. Du holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems from City University of Hong Kong. She is currently a Level 3 Professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Management, Guangdong University of Technology (GDUT). She serves as the Director of the International Cooperation and Accreditation Center of the school, a member of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Systems Engineering Committee of the Systems Engineering Society of China, a member of the Economic Committee of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the China Democratic League, and a member of the Teaching Steering Committee for E-commerce Majors in Guangdong Province's Undergraduate Universities. Furthermore, she was a Distinguished Professor at GDUT from 2014 to 2019.
Prof. Du focuses on behavior analysis empowered by digital intelligence, human–machine–human intelligence interaction and gamification design, pro-environmental behavior, and green innovation&nbp;and entrepreneurship models. Her related research achievements have been selected as “Typical Case Study Achievements” by the Ministry of Education in 2023 and have ranked among the ESI Highly Cited Papers for two consecutive years. She has participated in multiple projects at the provincial and ministerial levels, including two General Programs funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
Prof. Du has published over 40 academic papers in authoritative domestic and international journals such as International Journal of Information Management, Decision Support Systems, Internet Research, Nankai Business Review, Management Review, and Operations Research and Management Science. She also serves as a member of the editorial board of the SSCI journal Online Information Review and as an associate editor of the EI-indexed Journal of Information & Knowledge Management.
