The International Journal for Simulation and Multidisciplinary Design Optimization

The International Journal for Simulation and Multidisciplinary Design Optimization (IJSMDO) is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing research in simulation, computational engineering, and design optimization. It welcomes high-quality contributions that introduce innovative methodologies, theoretical advances, and practical applications across engineering, science, and technology. The journal particularly values research integrating Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Multiscale optimization, Numerical simulation, Composite material design, and Additive manufacturing. Work demonstrating strong technological relevance, advanced computational techniques, and industrial impact is highly encouraged.

IJSMDO publishes original research papers, critical reviews, and short communications that report novel, technically sound findings. Short communications highlight priority results in a concise format of up to four printed pages. Primary areas of interest include:

● Parameter Identification & Surface Response:material and structural modeling, neural networks, approximation methods, parametric programming, and ML/AI-based prediction.

● Optimization Strategies: heuristic and mathematical optimization, linear/nonlinear and stochastic programming, control theory, dynamic programming, and nature-inspired algorithms.

● Structural & Material Optimization: sizing, shape, topology, multiscale optimization, and optimization for additive manufacturing.

● Dynamics & Vibration:simulation and optimization of dynamic behavior and structural vibration.

● Industrial Applications:integrated modeling, simulation, and optimization with clear technological or numerical contributions.
